There was no comfortable lounge area to relax in and dining room lacks atmosphere. Staff very good in alk areas.

Its very cozy place.and the room is very clean and nice.and the food for the dinner is very good and delicious

Very pleasant stay - staff extremely helpful and a beautiful building and lovely breakfast. However I felt it needed a few tweaks in the room in order to get an excellent rating for business use.

Great Hotel, with parking, with centre of York about 8 minutes walks. Breakfast lovely as was the room. Would stay here again.

Overall good and a reasonable price for the area which was a very convenient location.
Unfortunately I struggled to sleep as the room felt warm even with the window open and the bed had what felt like a thick winter duvet. It might be an idea to put some lighter duvets in the wardrobe as an option for people.

Having stayed before we were disappointed with the small room, the rooms we've had before were lovely, which is why we returned

Overall it’s a great hotel and exactly what you nee for visiting York however I would not recommend eating at the hotel for your evening meal.
