The Churchill Hotel

Excellent. From booking onwards everything we experienced was well done and with very friendly, professional and helpful attention. We had a lovely weekend and it is so important to us - my family only meet once a year for a weekend and we have all traveled a long way and we are on a budget and the Churchill hotel and your excellent team made it all perfect for us. Thank you.

Overall, I would very much recommend staying at The Churchill and we will be back. Staff were excellent, hotel was very clean and the location was perfect for us. The comments I've made above are my personal findings and thoughts so where I haven't scored you at a '5' its purely because of the points I've made. It may be far on market value etc and comparable as a pricing strategy. We did pay the amount we did, and chose you because we live so far away and takes over 5 hours to get to you therefore we needed to be confident that you would be able to deliver to the standard we wanted and be looked after. You guys certainly did that so well done and thank you. Plus - it was great to have mature staff serving at breakfast as they really were excellent.

We had a fantastic weekend. The staff were so helpful and went out of their way with recommendations for where to take our 5 year old. Would definitely recommend this place. Breakfast as amazing!

We was disappointed with the hotel having stayed at a different local hotel a few years ago we was looking forward to our Churchill stay. The room was shoddy and the ill fitting window let in a terrible draught . The throw on the bed has seen better days and all the paintwork shows signs of wear and tear.

Lovely stay, all hotel staff very helpful/friendly. Good food, excellent location for the purpose of our trip.

This is a fantastic hotel. It has real character with individually decorated rooms and is ideally located to explore the city

Perfect. Just what I had hoped for. Lovely cosy room, very modern bathroom with lots of good additions. Very warm welcome.

Very good, some minor defects in room 113, chrome covers missing from taps in shower, damaged mosaic tiling under was basin (sharp corner) and we sat wouldn’t stay up.

Location ideal staff was so helpful and clean and tidy - would definitely stay again Good was amazing too
