Excellent quirky hotel close to the centre of York. Staff were lovely and reallY enjoyed my night cap in the bar.

Very relaxing stay.. Would definitely stay again. Staff were friendly and helpful, I would definitely stay again (next time with no kids lol )

Our overall experience was really good, I would definitely recommend the hotel, weather it be one night or several. The staff are super and the location ideal for a little stroll into York.

Our bedroom was in the basement, with no lift, and narrow staircase, awkward for octogenarians. We found the pillows and bedding uncomfortable.
The parking was convenient, and the character of the building was attractive.
The staff were helpful, and the atmosphere was pleasant and friendly.

it was a lovely relaxing experience. We had just got married and stayed in the bridal suite. Everyone was friendly and nothing was too much trouble

Very Good good location. Easy access in and out of your. Liked the quirky Ness of the hotel. Excellent staff. Very helpful

The Churchill theme is everywhere to see lovely.
Nice bathroom. And fine beds.
