The suite was very comfortable and the location of the hotel was excellent, as it is very close to public transportation. Also at walking distance from many main attractions of Berlin. The decoration of the room was neutral-to-ordinary, not design, like most design-hotels we've visited. No surprise, no Wow-effect in the room. The restaurant (breakfast) was lovely under the veranda, as was the lobby and the lounge. However, since we spent Christmas in the hotel, a little seasonal decoration would have been most welcome in the suite (we had a small child). We had to buy a Christmas tree and candles to feel in the holiday mood. Breakfast was good and healthy (could do better, but also worse), but the 2 times we had dinner in the lounge, we were disapointed both by service and quality of the food (every course was over salted for everybody - 5 pers.). I would definitely NOT recommend the QIU lounge for eating.
