Wonderful, amazing, did not want to leave. Everything was so romantic and like a fairytale. We will definitely try again to do it again. The snorkeling and glass boat was a bit of a disappointment as we tried for 6 days but was canceled every time. The entertainment was perfect not to much. Will definitely recommend the hotel to our friends and family .

We had an amazing time in Mauritius and loved Paul etc Virginie! We really wanted to escape our everyday lives and that's exactly how we felt. It was very relaxing and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would love to come back!

This was the best experience I have ever had! I will recommend Veranda Paul et Virginie for everyone that wants to break away and just relax and have the most luxurious treatment. I loved the hotel, the activities and the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel.

We have a really good time, loved the hotel and Mauritius - but the flights are very long from the UK.

As per my TripAdvisor review:

The hotel claims to be a 4-star, which it really isn't. When compared to other 4-star experiences in Mauritius, it simply doesn't stack up. I'm giving it a 3 here because I think it still has a way to go to compete against other 4-star Mauritius resorts. Staff are sweet, friendly, well meaning and helpful, but not adequately trained in fine hospitality. E.g we saw a waiter making a cocktail, tasting it by licking a straw and putting that same straw back to serve it to the customer. Incidentally, the cocktails are average and unimaginative.

The food, too, is good but not amazing. Nothing really stood out and there was a day out two when I felt at a loss as to what to eat. The buffet is small and although a buffet is quite difficult to get right, I'd say the chef can do more to make the menu appealing (e.g. introduce more variation or do themed buffets). One would expect a Spa treatment as part of the All Inclusive package, but they only offer a 10 minute massage within 24 hours of arrival (which seems too restrictive on 4-star All Inclusive).

Our room was noisy as it was close to the road where busses, trucks and street dogs wake you up at night. This was the only block so close to the road and although we asked to be moved, our request was simply ignored (no feedback).

The hotel is also on a relatively small piece if land so you don't get the idea of space that you might expect of other 4-star resorts. All in all, it feels a bit cramped.
