Quinta Real Oaxaca

La experiencia en general, lejos de dos puntos importantes, la valoraría bien. Debo de destacar, que para el un hotel de este nivel en cuanto a categoría, dista mucho de serlo el servicio que uno recibe en la recepción, está es la tercera vez que me hospedo y la gente que me ha atendido siempre tienen una cara tan larga y una falta de empatía, que he ido a hoteles de menor categoría y siempre suelen ser mas cordiales. Hay que poner atención toda vez que es la primera persona con que ve un huésped y es una imagen de que tan buena o mala será la atención en el hotel. Otro punto, es que el día de mi llegada, hubo un evento, pero la gente de la entrada y de seguridad, si es que la tiene este hotel, razón por la que decide quedarse uno en un hotel de este nivel y no otros, no puso orden. Entiendo que la gente disfruta y que a veces se les pasa las copas, pero mas de 30 min para poder descender, lograr entrar y luego ver la carota del de la recepción lamentable. Mucha gente en la calle queriendo pasar, pero nadie, absolutamente nadie puso orden o al menos trato de convidar a los ya muy alcoholizados que salían a dejar un espacio o permitir la entrada y salida de otros huéspedes, que muchos extranjeros regresaban a esa hora.

It's a beautiful place but you can tell things are a little run down or old. There are few outlets in the room to plug in devices. The front desk was very busy answering several phone calls about an event taking place at the hotel later that day/the next day, so it took a long time to get us checked in.

I chose hotel Quinta Real for the location, but for the amount of money I paid ($1000+) the level of service was completely subpar.

The card machine did not work when I checked in, and I had to trudge down to reception early next morning to re-submit my payment. It wasnt my card- it was the machine.

Housekeeping was absolutely great. The lady that cleaned my room recovered an airpod pro that I had lost. I called down to reception to ask who the lady was so that I could thank her. A lady came to my room, and stated that the particular housekeeper was off that day. After I reiterated that I wanted to simply thank the lady was when she said that the housekeeper was available. Please ask your staff to not lie.

The reason that I will not recommend your establishment is when I was checking out I requested for someone to assist with my luggage. I called down to reception. I was assured that someone would be there shortly. Someone came to my room to inquire whether I had used the service bar. I asked him about luggage assistance. He said someone would be up to my room. No one ever came to assist, and after waiting 30 minutes I was able to simply carry the luggage myself.

I am in a group of over 5 million women strong, and travel to Mexico extensively documenting my experiences. My first visit to Oaxaca City was amazing, but the service for the price I paid was subpar. I could have chosen a less costly establishment for better service. I will be back for guelaguetza, but will not be back to Quinta Real.

Todo el personal con el que interactuamos siempre fue muy atento y muy servicial. El hotel es una joya y está en unas excelentes condiciones. Los jardines tienen un mantenimiento perfecto. La ubicación es ideal para caminar por toda la ciudad.
