I had heard wonderful reviews about this hotel and I was expecting something more impressive in terms of the environment that would enhance the atmosphere.

It was very good. My only suggestion -and a strong one at that- is how rooms are called, as it can definitely generate confusion, same as the one I experienced when I was taken to the room, to me it was just a double room instead of the Grand Class Double Suite I had booked. The person at the desk did mention that I'm not the only guest who has confusion with the room name and part of the reason is that hotel is a renovated very old historical building. Regardless, I believe the name Suite should apply only to accomodations where there is a separation of sleeping and living quarters. The only reason I did not complain about this is that when reviewing my booking information and the website information, the room description is correct in terms of square meter and furniture -but if I'm not the only one who has experienced this, the hotel should clearly name the rooms to avoid further problems with more litigious guests.
